Step-by-Step Instructions
Access the Programming Button
Locate the 'Learn' or 'Program' button on the rear of the Linear LDCO801 motor head. It's typically a small, recessed button near the antenna wire.
Sync the Remote
Press and release the program button, then press the desired button on your remote control. The opener light will flash to confirm successful pairing.
If the Remote Still Won't Pair
If the LDCO801 isn't responding to the programming sequence, the cause is usually electrical — a failed logic board, damaged wiring, or a motor problem that needs a real diagnostic rather than another pairing attempt. See our opener installation & repair page for the full diagnostic process and pricing, or our complete guide to garage door openers for the repair-vs-replace math.
Call (941) 356-4334 to schedule a visit. The $169 service call covers travel, the 17-point inspection, and up to twenty minutes of skilled labor — often enough to identify whether the fix is a $20 board replacement or something larger.
